We’re incredibly honored to announce that Crosby Hops has been named a Manufacturing Company of the Year by the Portland Business Journal in the 2024 Makers and Manufacturers Awards! This award recognizes our commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation—and we’re proud to celebrate this achievement with an inspiring group of Oregon businesses that share our passion for impact and excellence.

One of the core reasons behind our selection for this award is our innovative CGX Cryogenic Lupulin Pellets, which represent a major advancement in hop processing and quality. These pellets are produced through our state-of-the-art cryogenic processing technology at our on-farm mill in Oregon. By utilizing cryogenic temperatures, we’re able to separate more lupulin from whole hop cones capturing intense aroma, flavor, and increasing brewing efficiency. This not only enhances the quality and consistency that brewers rely on but also reduces waste and maximizes hop utilization, embodying our commitment to sustainable production while improving the bottom line for craft breweries.

We are also thrilled to be recognized alongside remarkable Oregon companies like Revant Optics, Smith Teamaker, Straightaway Cocktails, and Bob’s Red Mill, each of whom has achieved excellence in their own industries. Our congratulations go out to Ben Rivera, CEO of Leatherman Tool Group, honored as Executive of the Year, whose leadership has made Leatherman a symbol of quality and innovation. We also want to acknowledge Timberlab and Partners on PDX Next, the Innovator of the Year awardees, for their visionary work in sustainable construction at Portland’s airport—a truly inspiring example of Oregon’s pioneering spirit.

The November 21st awards ceremony was an inspiring celebration of Oregon's manufacturing community, and we're grateful to be part of it. Key members of our operations team were in attendance as company representatives including Fermin Santos,, Sara Dolores, Trevor Page, Garrett North, Fabiola Galindo, Gabi McCarter, Vanesa Sierra-Dolores, along with Crosby fourth and fifth-generation, Kevin, Blake, and Jackie.

To our team, customers, and supporters, thank you for sharing this journey. This award reflects our shared commitment to making a meaningful impact through sustainable, high-quality ingredients. Here’s to the continued evolution of craft brewing and manufacturing excellence in Oregon!
