Crystal Kolsch

ABV 5.3%
We used exclusively Estate Grown Crystal hops, which have delicate aromas of peach and strawberry. We layered in Pale and Pilsner malts from Proximity Malt from Southern Colorado, which add pie crust flavors. Hops and malt combined; the aroma reminds us of peach cobbler. Fermented cold with Kolsch yeast, this beer is clean with a pleasantly dry finish.

This hoppy crusher is brewed similarly to an Italian Pilsner, but serves as a showcase for Oregon-grown New World hops with Noble parentage. A last minute hot-side infusion of whole-leaf Mt. Hood provides a base layer of delicate floral, herbaceous notes with bright citrus zest. A healthy dry-hop of Sterling and Crystal drives home notes of sticky rosemary, lemon verbena, peppercorn, and citron peel.
